Recent victories in intercollegiate competitions

Ekah 2015 at Mumbai University

Ekah 2015

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology participated in around 10 inter-collegiate festivals along with the Mumbai University’s festival, Ekah 2015. The performing teams have come up with flying colors in the Fashion Show, Street play and Music Band competitions. VIT, as a contingent has also won the title of the ‘The Best College’.

The VIT contingent for Mumbai University’s festival Ekah 2015 participated in 15 out of 18 events and won:

  • Mono acting (2nd prize) Mr. Humanshu Meshram
  • RJ Hunt (1st prize) Mr. Humanshu Meshram
  • Solo singing (3rd prize) Ms. Shruti Pai
  • Stand-up comedy (1st prize) Mr. Rushabh Mishra
  • Solo Dance (1st prize) Ms. Priyanka Kurtadkar

The students participated in 3 major events of SYMPHONY 2015 organized by K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar.

The students won the first place in Street play competition and second place in the Band competition.

VIT won the title of BEST CONTINGENT award too.

KALEIDOSCOPE 2014 at Sophia College for Women

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology students participated in the fest KALEIDOSCOPE 2014 organized by Sophia College for Women. Kaleidoscope is said to be one of the most prestigious college festivals in Mumbai.

Team VIT had a contingent of around 60 students, who participated in 36 out of 44 events in various categories like Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Informal and Workshops.
