Symposium

2017    
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) inaugurated the National Level Research Symposium on “Recent Advances and Challenges in Engineering and Management” (RACEM-2017) on December 22, 23 2017.

The objective of this Research Symposium is to showcase the project works of BE, ME, M. Tech. and PhD students. We were privileged to have Mr. Harshvardhan T., Vice-President, Capgemini, Mumbai as Key note Speaker of the Symposium.

The Research Symposium consisted of multidisciplinary technical research work classified into the following technology tracks –
  • Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Biomedical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering and Information Technology
  • Applied Sciences, Mathematics and Environmental Science
  • Business & Technology Management
  The Research Symposium conducted Workshops on the following topics:
  • Remote Sensing and Data Processing
  • Antenna and RF Design
  • Embedded System Applications Development using Embedded C and Proteus
  • Software Testing and Quality Assurance
  • LaTeX
  • Effective People Resources

2015      

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) inaugurated the National Level Research Symposium on “Recent Advances and Challenges in Engineering and Management” (RACEM-2015) on December 21, 2015. The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony was Prof. R.K. Shevgaonkar from IIT Bombay, Ex Director, IIT Delhi and Ex VC, Pune University who delivered an enriching keynote address on Modeling and Optimization. Entrepreneur Mr. B.K. Soni, Chairman and MD, Ecoreco (Eco-Recycling Ltd.), Mumbai was the Guest of Honour who addressed the audience on the significant topic of “E-waste Eradication" and how individuals, organizations and the corporates can all collectively contribute towards it. VDT Chairperson Dr. Sanjeewani Deshpande motivated research aspirants with her views on the importance of developing a research mindset as it is the highest faculty of humans. The Convener of the Symposium, Dr. Sangeeta Joshi deliberated on the various research initiatives at VIT.
