For every memory that carries emotion, there are lessons to be learned. One such lesson was learned by me as an eleven-year-old kid on the day when I lost my father. Life has its own surprises and hardships. We have to accept the truth and move forward. This is exactly what my mother taught me after the sudden demise of my father. She gathered all the courage and completed her B.Ed. at the age of 42. On doing so, some of the important life values inculcated by her were independence, self-sufficiency, honesty, truth and self-respect while holding onto her roots. These very efforts put in by my mother in her journey are the significant inspiring and motivating factors for me that have immensely contributed to my current position. Mathematics as a subject was my passion since I was an adolescent which in turn resulted in an affinity towards the field of engineering and achieved. It was the collective influence of all these factors that helped me clear my graduation with distinction.

I have always been a firm believer of the fact that skill improvement can be done only by the practical implementation of the concepts learned during the college days. Hence, to ensure the application of my knowledge in practical fields, I started my professional career in the industry domain. Subsequently, I cleared my UGC interview in year 2006 and joined Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. I have always been enthusiastic to learn new things. Hence over these teaching years, I have taught a wide array of different subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Applied mathematics, Electronic Materials and Components, Basic Audio System, TV Transmission, to name a few.

It has always been an endeavor to keep up with the forth coming technologies by engaging myself with different courses. I also encourage my students to take up several available MOOC courses (over and above their core subjects) and other subject related open source software for their overall development. Even at college, I personally engage them with different small-scale projects to make their fundamentals clear starting from design to development. While teaching the intricacies of any aspect, I mainly focus on getting the fundamentals strong.

To nurture my creativity, I have pursued many hobbies like sketching, writing poetry, singing, drama, reading. I enjoy watching sci-fi movies. The personalities who inspire me the most are Ratan Tata, Narendra Modi and Sudha Murthy as they lead exemplary lives. Cultural diversities in food and nutrition is my keen interest and I love preparing innovative dishes. Principles, values and integrity mean a lot in my life and I strongly believe in inculcating the same in my students. I believe in social work helping the people in need around. Each experience at Vidyalankar has helped me to evolve as a person, a teacher and an influencer.

Other than teaching, some other hobbies that I thoroughly enjoy are cooking, participating in competitions, gardening, novel reading, travelling and rangoli art. As a part of my social service initiatives, I also infrequently participate in blood donation camps in an active manner.
