I am blessed to be a part of a family that of academicians. It has helped me to inculcate many things like honesty, discipline, punctuality, and much more from a very young age. During the days of transition from Balbharti to Kumarbharti, I started to develop an interest in mathematics. Had someone told me then, that one day I shall be teaching the application of Mathematics in engineering field, would have cracked me in laughter. It was my mother, a BMC teacher, who took the cumbersome task of making me comfortable with Algebra and Geometry. These two subjects, which once seemed to me like undefeatable demons, soon appeared to me as conquerable milestones.

Being a child, I was more than happy to win my wars with these opponents than looking at the bigger picture; her technique. Later, the picture became clear, that it is more important for a teacher to be adaptable according to the requirement of the students. In no time, I grew fond of applied mathematics that I decided to pursue my career in engineering. A critical situation came after my HSC board exams when I had to choose between the two seats that I had secured. Whether a government medical seat in Bombay Virar College, or Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. My liking for applied mathematical analysis took me one step closer to the present stage. With constant support and the right guidance from family and teachers, I completed my graduation with distinction. Without second thought, I enrolled myself for the post-graduation course in EXTC at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. Following my passion for engineering, I was able to secure the 1st rank throughout my post-graduation. I take great pride in being an alumnus of the Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. It was a pleasure to have such knowledgeable teachers and studious environment. I was so touched by the aura of the institute and the faculty, that I wished to teach in the same institute. After joining VIT as a teaching faculty, I explored my capabilities from basic electrical engineering, to mathematical analysis of electronics, signals and systems. Later I got the opportunity to explore programming subjects which ignited my hobby of coding. In 2019, I got the opportunity to become the convenor/ ISF coordinator of an Institute level body, the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE); representing VIT at a National level. Under the roof of IETE, I was able to successfully organize multiple workshops on different domains right from PCB design, Printed Antenna design and fabrication, to database management.

The teaching-learning environment here, has helped me grow not only as a teacher but also as an academician. Being a part of the VIT family for almost 6 years has been a wonderful experience.
