It only takes a flicker to ignite the fervour of inspiration. In the classroom, teachers bring ideas to life not just by sharing but by encouraging imagination. As William A. Ward, says “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”

After my schooling, I first completed my Diploma in Computer Engineering. Subsequently, I pursued my graduation and post-graduation in Computer engineering to establish a firm base in this domain so that I could take up the teaching profession as my career.

The important milestone in my life was when I joined the Computer Department as a faculty member at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology on 12th July 2010. My formal teaching sessions started with subjects like Data Structure in Java and Soft Computing. Affiliation with the students inspired me to take up the role of the Convener of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) wherein I organized technical events. As a part of CESA (Computer Engineering Student Association), I organized an important event, the Internship Fair. Presently, as the convener of CSI-VIT student chapter (Computer of Society of India), I organize variety of events along with two flagship events every year like CyberFrat and Protocol.

To further enliven my interest in networking, I started teaching subjects like Distributed Systems, Computer networking, Network security, Linux administration. On the personal front, I am actively involved in pursuing new concepts in IOT and Embedded Systems by offering guidance to my students in successfully executing projects in these domains. There were some other challenging projects like Automatic Irrigation system, Intelligent chair for disabled people, Mood lighting and Laser Cast which were also executed with an innovative mindset. While aiding my students in these ventures, I also ensure their focus is not merely on successful completion of the projects, but also showcase the same by publishing the concepts in reputed journals or conferences.

Apart from my professional life, I also have been able to pursue some hobbies like photography, singing and dancing. My hobbies have helped me initiating curricular and co-curricular events for students in the Institute. Among various events, TEDx talk (TEDxVIT) is very popular among students as it provides big opportunity for students to interact with many eminent personalities from different fields.
