During my childhood, I enjoyed playing the game of ‘teacher– student’ and today it is like a flashback for me when I have become a teacher. Being a bright child, I always excelled in my exams. My success mantra was to understand the concepts than merely mugging it up. Thus, I was always among the top scorers in school as well as in college.
While being trained at one of the multinational firms, where I had got selected through campus placement, I understood the importance of practical application of the concepts learnt. Studying in groups made me gain some more insights from my friends into the subject. There I realized that group interaction is a must. Studying on your own has certain limitations. When you sit with friends, you understand different viewpoints easily without investing a lot of time. I also learnt that hard work cannot be substituted to achieve success.
When I joined the IT Department in Vidyalankar, I took up Python as my lead task. Today, I take skill development courses through Vidyalankar Consultancy Services (VCS) in Python Programming. I am also working on few other live projects based on Python including e-charting system for Konkan Railways.
My eagerness to learn new things and develop something new, led me to join the VCS team and today, I have implemented few projects here, namely the prototype of RFID toll booth, Led based timekeeper for competitions, to name a few. The Institute and specially the Management really encourage us to go beyond our limits and implement something of a quality value. If you are passionate about learning new things, exploring technical activities, creating new products, then see you soon in the college campus!
