As I recollect my childhood days, the first things that come to my mind are the lessons of life that I could learn from the motivational words of my teachers. Today, after entering the teaching line, I have realized its challenging nature, even though I consider it as one of the most respectful professions. The strong binding of emotional relationships, a teacher that develops with the students in a classroom are the real pillars that forge ahead a world, where all professional and personal identities seamlessly merge.
I will always remain thankful to my parents who encouraged me to opt for technical education. My engineering days also saw me taking home tuitions as the first step towards my sustainability in the financial front. This not only arranged my pocket money, but also sowed the seeds of inclination towards the teaching profession. I completed my graduation from the reputed institute SVITS, Indore. After Passing GATE exam with score 98.19, I completed my MTech in Embedded System Electronics with CPI 7.49 from VNIT, Nagpur. After joining Capgemini in 2006 as an Associate Consultant, I got an opportunity to work in various domains with various clients. During this tenure, I became a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) while securing the NCFM certificate in finance domain.
With a passion for continuous learning, I joined Vidyalankar Institute of Technology in 2012. I often congratulate myself on taking this decision as VIT has always provided me with diverse opportunities and encouragement to learn new technologies. The State-of-the art Laboratories at Vidyalankar institute are well equipped with varied industrial tools like Cadence, MATLAB, FPGA etc, which helped not only the students but also me, in various projects and associated research work.
I always motivate my students to cultivate the attitude for research as this will help them enjoy the work they do with passion. I have also presented a couple of papers in Biomedical image processing and antenna design in the conferences, which was appreciated by all the delegates.
Some of the major engineering subjects that I have really enjoyed in my teaching career are Electromagnetic Engineering, control system, communication engineering, VLSI Design, Microelectronics, Digital electronics, Discrete electronics and Drives. I strongly believe in 'Student Centered Learning’, the teacher should be a motivator, facilitator, mentor and inspiration for students that can build their creativity and their understanding. It helps in creating a strong bond between teachers and students and enhances the teaching learning process as I had a first-hand experience of the same during my childhood.
During my personal time, I love to read motivational books and watch inspirational videos. Books like "No excuses", "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind", "The Secret" are some of my all-time favorites.
