A passion for sharing the acquired knowledge with others and a lifelong learning approach to keep update with the state of the art has driven my career till date. My areas of interest include Remote Sensing, Signal and Image Processing, Microwave Engineering, Internet of Things, etc. I am also exploring the realms of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision through ongoing individual research projects while providing guidance to my students. I have developed novel algorithms for the efficient fusion of remote sensing images during my doctoral research, and have published, presented my findings at reputed journals and conferences. I am actively engaged in the research community as a reviewer for esteemed journals, subject expert and organizing member for conferences, national seminars and contests. I am connected to professional community through Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), The Institution of Engineers, India (IEI), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and its Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS).
