I had read this quote which says, "The influence of a good teacher can never be erased," during my engineering days. It motivated me to take up the most respected profession of becoming a teacher.

I started testing my teaching skills when I was an engineering student. I came across many teachers who enhanced my skills and they became my source of inspiration. I started teaching on a part time basis. I received a positive feedback from the students which confirmed my decision to become a Professor.

I completed my B.E.and immediately got an opportunity to work as a Lecturer in an engineering college. I was happy to be a teacher but at the same time I realised that this is not an easy task. You must have a good command over the subject that you teach to be able to solve the multiple queries of the aspiring engineers. So, I started learning in depth and decided to go for higher education.

The teachers, learning environment and campus of this institute inspired me to be a part of the same as a faculty.

I joined Vidyalankar Institute's EXTC department and it changed my perspective of being a traditional teacher. I teach core engineering subjects like Electronic Devices and Circuits, Microprocessor's with modern tools like lecture capture, flip classroom, and practical demonstration. At the same time, I worked on various projects in the core electronics domain. I also have keen interest towards using natural resources. In this regard, I have developed certain projects like solar tree, energy through sound and other related projects with the help of students.

Along with teaching, I also like to nurture my hobbies. My hobbies are dancing, sports and acting. I pursue all these hobbies by being the Convener of our student cultural council. Working with young minds enables me to develop fresh ideas and enthusiasm.

As a teacher, I always follow the quote by William Arthur Ward which says that, "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher Inspires.”
