My mother and grandfather motivated me to choose my career in teaching. Since childhood having seen their commitment in the social and academic growth of every student, the instinct of selecting teaching as a profession triggered in my mind. I believe that teaching is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven profession.

I had a keen interest in telecommunications field, so I selected the same stream. Teaching gives me an opportunity to understand young minds and inspire and influence tomorrow’s leader. I followed my passion and joined VIT as a lecturer. This opportunity gave justice to my teaching qualities along with continuous learning of new technologies and sharpening my technical and academic skills. I am thankful to VIT for my triumphant career in academics.

I have taught various subjects in my 5 years of career for the UG level. Image Processing, Digital signal Processing, Antenna, Green computing, Principles of communication, Computer networks are my areas of interest. I have guided and mentored many UG project groups for new upcoming domains like sensor network, IoT, network security. As research is a need of time, I inspire students to publish journal papers, file a patent, and perform hands on session on new platforms.

I also handle a crucial task of placement coordinator at the departmental level. This role involves many tasks like looking for new placement and internship opportunities for students, training and counselling students for placements and helping students in the hiring process. This helps me to get a glimpse of some new industry trends and technology and in turn, I help students to bridge the gap between industry and academics.

I love to read motivational and technical books which helps to add knowledge and leads to personality development. As a teacher, I envision my role to impart good technical knowledge to students and develop their skillset which is a steppingstone of their career. I strive to build student self-esteem and encourage them to become good industry-oriented engineers.
