Being from a family of evangelists and educators, taking up teaching profession was inherently sown. From the beginning of my school days, we were being exposed to the world of science by participating in various science exhibitions, competitions and visiting regularly to Nehru Science Centre. That was the point, where I started building interest towards Electronics field. My parents allowed me to follow my interest and immediately after my 10th I pursued my Diploma in Industrial Electronics, followed by Bachelor’s degree. Keeping a balance between a passion towards teaching and interest in technology field, I took up teaching as my profession in Engineering College. Later to enhance my professional life, I pursued my Master’s in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

I strongly believe that ‘The heart of teaching is the art of assisting discovery’, and hence I constantly keep upgrading my knowledge by attending various conferences, workshops, seminars and courses and accordingly motivate and guide and update students too on recent work in technological fields. During my teaching career, I have inculcated the knowledge of various subjects like Digital Communication, Internet of Things, Analog Communication, Data Encryption and Compression etc. Since I have worked with multiple technical institutes, I am exposed to various working culture and that experience help me to mentor and understand students at ease.

Being a technical professional, I always wanted to be a part of technical events which also advance and inspire humans. As a part of service to society, since my school days, I was an active member of NSS (National Service Scheme) and then continued with professional bodies like ISTE (Indian Societyfor Technical Education) and IEEE (Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, USA). Under this banner, I worked as a member in organizing committee for various technical events. I have reviewed few research papers for National Science Journal. VIT has added colors to my wishes by giving me an opportunity to work earnestly as a Convenor of IEEE & WIE - VIT Student Branch, where I organized and planned many events and workshops on recent technical domain, and at the same time have fun. VIT also supported and motivated me and my team to conduct and organize various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) workshops at local schools through which poor and underprivileged children were exposed to the various tricks and technology.

I am interested in cooking and listening to music. I spend my free time by teaching basic science projects to kids and dancing in freestyle. I like to watch inspiring documentary films like ‘Engineering Connections’, ‘Inside Bill’s Brain’ and many more related videos by NASA and ISRO.
