Being the daughter of a working parents, I had to stay back in school even after the school hours were over, as my mother during that time was an Administrative Head in the same school. That was the time when I was handled with extreme care by my teachers; which made me understand the importance of being a teacher as not only a mentor but also a caring guide.

I have seen my teacher taking efforts to make her students excel in every aspect of life. My teacher used to engage her students well in all the academic events, which was also a major guiding step for me in my career. Later I always excelled in academics, singing, dancing, sports and many other events during my school days. As I grew up, I started looking up to my mother, my teachers with due respect for their immense hard work to make their students excel in not only academics but also in extracurricular activities. Teaching has always been my passion from school days, which made me understand clearly the career path that I wanted to choose for myself. I followed my passion and joined the college as a Lecturer as soon as I completed my BE course. I have worked in various institutes and presently serving Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.

I have handled various subjects in my 7 years of teaching experience namely, Microprocessor and Embedded system, Computer Networks, Satellite communication, Radar Engineering, Principles of Communication and so on. I strongly believe in the quote, “Teaching is a continuous process of learning,” which I have been following from the starting of my career and I keep myself busy in reading new subjects and research also about new domains like IoT and Network Security. I always believe that teacher is more like a mentor and therefore I have guided many students in academic sessions for their project work, domain work and much more. I also encourage my students to publish their project work in reputed Journals and Conferences.

I was also awarded for Best Paper in an International conference during my post- graduate project work in Mumbai. To continue my interest in learning processes, I like to share my knowledge by conducting Events or Workshops.
