I had realized at a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. My grandmother was a secondary school teacher at Gujarat. My brother and I would help her to set-up her classroom during our summer vacations. My grandmother later became the Principal in the same school. I hail from a long array of educators, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. Moreover, the teachers that shaped my personality had immense influence on my life. So, as soon as I completed my 10th, I started to develop and nurture the skill set required to be a good teacher. I took up engineering, as I am very good at solving real world and complex problems. While completing my post-graduation, I was offered a post of an Assistant Lecturer where I got the experience of classroom teaching for the first time.

I have been working at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology from the past two years. VIT has trained me to focus on the holistic development of the students. My personal area of interest as well as research area is Computer and Cyber Security. In this path, VIT has helped me to complete 2 specializations in the same domain from University of Colorado Systems viz. Applied Cryptography and Cybersecurity for Business. I have also completed a guided project on Web Application Security Testing with OWASP ZAP.

Passionate about movies, I have worked as a movie reviewer for over 2 years, and that has helped me become a critical thinker in all aspects. I as a teacher, I always want my students not only to learn the technical skills required by the industry but also to imbibe life-long skills like leadership and teamwork in them. With this respect, I not only encourage my students but also guide them to develop projects, participate in project exhibitions, conferences and so on.
