IMPULSE 2020 - Biomedical Festivalwas organized on 7 March 2020 in collaboration with BMESI India and BMSA in which around 150 participants including faculty and professional from Mumbai had participated. Participants could attend 3 hands on workshops conducted by Medical Devices industries.
Poster Presentation Contest was organized on the first day of IMPULSE on 6th March 2020 in which posters on various fields related to Biomedical, Electronics and Informatics were displayed. There were 20 Posters presented during the event.
A Seminar on - Unleashing the Power Within Seminar was organized on 25th January 2020 where around 41 students, faculty and professional were attended. This seminar helped participants to unlock and unleash the forces inside them to break through the limitations and take control of your life.
Visit to - Masina Hospital was organized on 5th October 2019 in which 38 students & faculty members were present. During the visit, students were shown different departments in the hospital, their working, layouts, and equipment’s in each section.
Workshop on - AED was organized on 14th September 2019 in which 60 students and faculty were present. This workshop helped participants to understand the use of basic Life support technique so that first aid is provided & person’s life will be saved if any cardiac arrest situation occurs.
Organ Donation Seminar was organized on 14th September 2019 in which 60 students and faculty were attended. In the seminar participants were made aware of importance of donating organs, various organizations involved, the procedure and their social implications.
Workshop on - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation was organized on 2nd March 2019 which was presented by Mr.Pandurang Tekawade, Head Respiratory Therapist-Hinduja Hospital, along with a team from Rescare Medisys. 50 students attended this workshop. Students got hands-on session experience as well as the theoretical knowledge related to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
IMPULSE Biomedical Festival was organized on 16 March 2019 in collaboration with BMSA in which various professionals from Industry and academia conducted workshops. Around 150 participants from all over Mumbai had attended the Festival.
