OVERVIEW
The Electronics and Computer Science Student Association (ECSA) is the official technical student body of the Electronics and Computer Science department. It aims to foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative learning among students from First Year to Final Year.
ECSA organizes a wide range of activities such as workshops, technical competitions, hackathons, guest lectures, and project-based events that enhance students’ practical knowledge beyond the curriculum. The association provides a platform for students to develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while promoting teamwork, leadership, and creativity.
Through its initiatives, ECSA also bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by exposing students to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, APIs, Robotics, and the Metaverse. Overall, ECSA plays a vital role in nurturing competent engineers equipped with both technical expertise and professional skills.
Recent activities
Industry Visit to Nanofabrication Lab, IIT Bombay was organized on 18th April 2026.
Hack for Humanity a technical event held on 30th March 2026.
API Mashup Mania a mini hackathon held on 28th January 2026.
AI Agent Workshop – Creating AI Agents was organized on 12th February 2026, with Mr. Makarand Jena as the speaker
CodeConnect was organized on 11th October 2025, featuring Mr. Chandramowli J, Software Developer at Amazon.
Beyond the Chip was organized on 11th October 2025, featuring Mr. Pratik Kulkarni. The session covered STM32 microcontrollers and ARM Cortex-M architecture.
Embedded Systems was organized on 30th September 2025, featuring s Mr. Pratik Kulkarni. The session focused on PCB design, circuit simulation, and key concepts in embedded systems.
VLSI Career Compass was organized on 20th September 2025, featuring Mr. Sanketh Prakash.
Automation Expo – 18th India International Trade Show was organized on 14th August 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon.
Blueprint of Success was organized on 21st July 2025, featuring Mr. Raghavan Koli as the guest speaker.
