Born in a family of engineers and doctors, I chose to pursue my career in English language and literature. Teaching has always remained a passion for me. I still remember my PG lectures where our professors would recite Shakespearean soliloquies and we would be spellbound. I wanted to be a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher. I always admire my teachers for their passion and zeal for teaching.
As a faculty of Humanities cluster, I strive for excellence and perfection in teaching. I believe that a language teacher has a remarkable quality to connect with students. I believe in engaging and involving my students in the teaching learning process. I try to implement innovative methodology in teaching to make learning more interesting. I trust that a teacher must be skilled enough to adapt to students’ diverse learning styles. I am committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students.
