Fintech VIT is a student-driven committee at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology dedicated to fostering interest and expertise in the intersection of finance and technology. The committee equips students with knowledge and practical skills in areas such as digital payments, blockchain, cryptocurrency, financial analytics, and emerging fintech innovations. By bridging the gap between theory and industry, Fintech VIT empowers students to become future-ready professionals in the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape. 

RECENT ACTIVITIES

BidBlaze – Live Stock Bidding Simulation was organized on 30th March 2026,  The event tested participants’ quantitative skills, budgeting, and strategic decision-making through player valuation and bidding. After intense competition, Punjab Kings emerged as winners with 576 points, followed by Mumbai Indians with 569 points.

The Bombay Student’s Mutual Fund Strategy – Seminar  was organized on 14th February 2026, seminar by Mr. Sudhir Shukla. The session covered smart investment strategies, Micro-SIPs, mutual funds, goal-based investing, and the power of compounding. It concluded with an interactive Q&A on personalized investment planning.

Scam Tank – A Fintech Pitching Event was organized on 6th February 2026, Participants presented creative scam-themed financial ideas, promoting financial literacy, critical thinking, and pitching skills in an engaging environment. The winners were PatchPlus (1st), Scam Squad (2nd), and BrotherHood (3rd).

Quant Interviews 101 – Online Session was organized on 17th January 2026,featuring Ms. Nadiya Qayyum, SDE at JP Morgan Chase, with 45 attendees. The session covered Quant finance fundamentals, interview preparation strategies, mathematical modelling, probability concepts, and programming challenges. It concluded with an interactive Q&A on career opportunities and pathways in the Quant field.

Core Grooming Session – FinTech Introduction Workshop was organized on 7th October 2025,led by Aranya Sinha (President) with 45 attendees. The session introduced core members to the committee’s vision, responsibilities, communication workflows, documentation practices, and financial technology fundamentals. It concluded with interactive discussions to align members with the committee’s goals and expectations.

Bitcoin India Tour was organized on 24th September 2025,hosted the Bitcoin India Tour by Mr. Amol Bajpal with 80 attendees. The session covered Bitcoin, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency fundamentals, investment strategies, digital asset security, and India’s regulatory landscape. It concluded with an interactive Q&A and networking session.
