Overview

The genesis of the Parent Interaction Committee(PIC) lies in the belief that parents play a pivotal role in the occupational aspirations of their children. It is imperative to assist them in understanding the influence they exercise on the career and overall development of their wards to enable them to provide constructive and knowledgeable advice.The committee aims at providing a common forum for interaction of parents and teachers to exchange feedback and jointly motivate the student to put in his/her best efforts. 

Goal

  • Enhance parental awareness about their critical role in shaping the career aspirations and decision-making of their children. 
  • Educate parents on emerging career opportunities and industry trends so they can guide their wards with accurate and updated information. 
  • Promote constructive parent–student communication. 
  • Equip parents with counselling and mentoring skills to provide balanced, non-pressurizing guidance aligned with students’ interests and abilities. 
  • Strengthen collaboration between institution and parents to create a supportive ecosystem for students’ academic and professional growth.
