Overview
The staff development committee provides an opportunity to faculty members to upgrade their technical knowledge and skillsets. The objective of the staff development committee is to provide industrial exposure to faculty by organizing technical activities such as faculty development programs, seminars, industrial visits and training.
Goal
To ensure the technical skill upgradation of faculty by providing industrial exposure through industry institute interaction and technical programs.
Activities
- Interaction with outside word- Meeting and discussion session to understand design procedure and set up of satellite ground station.
- Visit to ISRO exhibition- To understand practical aspects of RISAT-2 and Ocensat-2
- Interaction with outside world- Visit to Center of Excellence (COE), V.J T. I, Mumbai
- Industrial visit to Reliance Jio to understand functionality and deployment of mobile 4G technology
- Industrial visit to Doordarshan, Mumbai
- Industrial visit to All India Radio, Mumbai
- Industrial Visit to Gas thermal power station, Mahagenco, Uran, Mumbai.
